iPhone 7 Will Be Waterproof with Longer Battery Durability and Other Amazing Features

One thing which most people wants from iPhone producers, apple, is an iPhone which is water resistance. There has been several videos of people dropping their iphone in water, like in a cup of tea, loo or anywhere, and we all know that if the phone stays in the water for some seconds/minutes, it won’t come out the same again/

The simple truth is It is a rare iPhone user who hasn’t managed to drop their phone in a cup of tea, down the loo or just have it ruined by rain, the option of one day, getting your iphone on water can’t be ruled out.

Although the trick of putting your mobile phone in an old bag of rice trick works sometimes, but once you hear that tell-tale ‘kerplunk’ as your phone slips down the toilet, you generally know it’s sayonara, and not just that, but it might be the last time your phone will work correctly, not with the new iPhone 7 though. Apple’s new release is set to be completely waterproof, and can last hundreds of days in the water, and it will still function fine.

Though there are several tests on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, which have shown that the handsets are already virtually waterproof, with some reports even suggesting that the devices were made secretly waterproof as a test ahead of the iPhone 7’s released date, which will be amazing, am excited to see it.

Though Apple is likely to announce the waterproofing as a feature of the iPhone 7 when the handset is released later this year.

Your guess is as right as mine, there will also be amazing features which is rumoured to come with the iPhone 7, including the much expected wireless charging, a reversible USB port, dual rear cameras with optical zoom, fingerprint recognition on the main display.

Note that the handsets will also have a thinner design and may do away with the home button, allowing for a bigger screen.
What else can we expect from the iPhone7 really?

Yes, you read that right, the traditional home button is rumoured to be scraped forever.

‘As several people have speculated,’ Gene Munster, who is an analyst with US investment bank Piper Jaffray, told clients, ‘the addition of 3D Touch may provide Apple with a way to eliminate the home button on the phone and use the additional space to make the screen bigger or make the device smaller.’

The elimination of the home button would mean Apple would need to move the Touch ID sensor to elsewhere on the handset.

Better battery life

There is also believes that there will be an introduction of Low Power Mode in the latest iOS, which will certainly have been a godsend for us, but Apple could be about to focus even more on battery life.

‘Looking at Macs over the past few years, Apple has doubled battery life for its Macbook line up (largely five hour battery to around 10 hours),’ Munster added.

Munster also went on to disclosed this and we quote him; ‘We believe battery life is one of the biggest areas of potential improvement and one that might be most welcomed by customers.’

Super-thin handset

According to another analyst, whose name is Ming-Chi Kuo, also went on to claim that the iPhone 7 will be the firm’s thinnest handset ever produced.

The phone is rumoured to be 6mm thick, and as we already know, the iPhone 6 and 6S are 6.9mm thick, and the 6 Plus is 7.1mm.

The iPhone 5S is a lot thicker, at 7.6mm.

More details will be released very soon.
